Suzuki Swift 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.

The news about the Suzuki Swift has been confirmed with the new spy photos revealed recently. There were initial rumors that the spotted car was actually the Swift Sport, but it was later discovered by looking a little closer as the car in front of us is actually a newly developed Suzuki Swift car.

Suzuki Swift

This model is mainly aimed at the Indian market. Surprisingly, but this car is the best-selling car in the country and a popular choice among the compact hatchback fans. Since the competition has grown and started producing their own models in recent years, the vehicle has been getting more and more attention. To beat the competition, they decided to update the Suzuki Swift and bring it as a model.

Beating the growing competition is not easy as they have realized what needs to be done, but Suzuki already has all the strings in their own hands and they do not hesitate to pull them. So, the Suzuki Swift seems like it will keep its design language and the DNA of the outgoing model, but it will also add a lot. The images show us a much more aggressive vehicle that the market will appreciate a lot.

When is the Suzuki Swift expected release date?

We will probably get the Suzuki Swift either in mid or late . The car has been getting more and more hype lately and since the development seems to be going steadily, the first unveiling could come pretty soon. The initial market is still India, so we expect to get a release date for that market first and later for the other respective markets.

What is the price we can expect?

Since the new Suzuki Swift will debut in India first, the price is currently available only for that country. The US pricing will be available a little later. Currently, the initial base model of Suzuki Swift is priced at INR. 5 lakh, while the high-end models are given at INR. 8 lakhs.

A new and aggressive style for the Suzuki Swift

When it comes to the details of the exterior of the Suzuki Swift, perhaps it is enough to say that this is an aggressive looking car. The car has not changed that much mechanically and we still see the same silhouette of the car, but the changes are evident and bring us a sportier styling of the Swift. Some of the details that have already been made include the new single-frame grille at the front, which is framed with larger headlights. There are some fog lights on the lower lip of the car and both the front and rear profile are improved thanks to the newly added alloy wheels. The profile looks a bit different as the A and B pillars are painted black and there is a different lip spoiler on the roof of the car. The rear of the car is a bit sleeker and new LED lights are added

The new Swift draws a lot of inspiration from the Belano model. However, the main difference between the cars is the size. The Swift is shorter while the wheelbase is longer compared to the Belano model. Also, the weight of the Suzuki Swift has reduced significantly thanks to the new lightweight frame that the car adds and is now just 890 kilograms.

The interior of the car looks much more modern

As for the details of the interior of the Suzuki Swift, we have a much more modern car on our hands. The details and the overall setup are a bit different and you immediately feel the new contemporary vibe when you get into the car. The dashboard has changed stylistically and there is an all-new touchscreen in the middle of the car. We also see the new flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel, which is also a nice touch. The seats also have new styling and are updated with fresh new upholstery and cool new features.

Powertrain of the Suzuki Swift

As for the engine that powers the Suzuki Swift, there are several options that make this possible. The base is the petrol engine with a displacement of 1.2 liters and the ability to produce 67 Ps and 118 Nm of torque. Next is the mid-range model that uses the same type of engine but is tuned differently to produce a peak power of 70 Ps and a torque of 170 Nm. The top-tier model uses a 3-cylinder 1.0-liter engine that delivers 101 Ps. The transmission choice falls on the 5-speed manual or a CVT unit, both of which you can use.

With the given statistics, the latest Suzuki Swift will not improve the acceleration rate that much. The top speed will remain the same as the outgoing model, which is 121 mph, while the acceleration time is estimated to be around 10.6 seconds.

Fuel consumption and consumption

The statistics for the new Suzuki Swift and the amount of fuel it consumes are not yet available to us. The current model is pretty good but we are still not sure if they will improve it that much. The current model consumes 5.5 liters per 100 km and is therefore a fairly rated model. Although any improvement we get is good, we do not see how much this will improve from the current situation.

The same dimensions as before

The latest Suzuki Swift vehicle will not change the dimensions and will remain the same in that sense. The size of the car is quite good and the upcoming refresh has not changed anything about it. The size is 3840 mm, the width is 1695 mm, the height is 1500 mm and the wheelbase of the Swift is 2450 mm.

Safety specifications

What the Japanese manufacturer has done for its Suzuki Swift is to update it with advanced safety options. Standard equipment includes seven airbags, a rear defogger, ABS with EBD, a rear view camera, and ESP and Hill Hold Assist. Optionally, you get dual camera brake support, a speed limiter, and lane departure warning.

Competing models

The Suzuki Swift will face some competition as there are some brands that have gained potential with the new models. But before that, it was mostly unopposed in the segment. Perhaps the closest competition comes from the Skoda Fabia, Ford Fiesta and Seat Ibiza models, but the Swift is likely to retain the number one spot after this refresh.
