Tesla Model Y
The Tesla Model Y is the second vehicle after the Model 3 to be built on Tesla’s third-generation platform. It aims to lower the entry-level price of electric vehicles without compromising on range and performance.
SECURITY
Like every Tesla, the Model Y is the safest vehicle in its class. The low center of gravity, rigid body structure and large crumple zones provide unparalleled protection.
USEFULNESS
Offering maximum versatility, Model Y can carry 7 passengers and their cargo. Each second-row seat folds flat independently, providing flexible storage for skis, furniture, luggage and more. The tailgate opens to a low trunk floor, making loading and unloading easy and quick.
PERFORMANCE
The Tesla Model Y features two responsive, independent electric motors that digitally control torque to the front and rear wheels for far better handling, traction and stability control. The Model Y is capable of rain, snow, mud and off-road driving.
OFFER
The Model Y is fully electric, so you’ll never have to visit a gas station again. Charging overnight at home means you can wake up every morning with a full battery. And when you’re on the road, it’s easy to plug in on the go – at any public station or through the Tesla charging network. There are over 12,000 Superchargers worldwide, with six new locations opening every week.
AUTOPILOT
All new Tesla vehicles come standard with emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring and more. The Model Y has full self-driving capability, allowing automatic driving on city streets and highways unless government permission is given, as well as the ability to find you anywhere in a parking lot.
INNER
With a raised seating position and low dashboard, the driver has a commanding view of the road. The interior of the Model Y is simple and clean, with a 15-inch touchscreen, an impressive sound system and an expansive all-glass roof that creates additional headroom and offers a seamless view of the sky.
UPDATES OVER THE AIR
The Model Y is designed to improve over time through regular software updates and to introduce new features, functions and performance.
OUTSIDE
Despite all its futuristic ambitions, the Model Y is a relatively conventional-looking compact four-door SUV. It takes many design cues from the Model 3 sedan, making it instantly recognizable as a Tesla. However, it is noticeably larger and less sporty-looking than its low-slung, sleek sedan sibling.
