Toyota bZ4X 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
Toyota is ready to re-enter the electric vehicle segment with the Toyota bZ4X crossover, which features angular styling that sets it apart from Toyota’s gasoline-powered SUVs. Unlike the company’s last all-electric vehicle – the RAV4 EV – the bZ4X will be sold at Toyota dealerships nationwide.

Although only the bZ4X has been announced so far, Toyota has recorded several trademark applications using other bZ names, leading us to believe that the company is planning a family of electric vehicles with the moniker.
The production version of the bZ4X is expected to arrive in Toyota showrooms in mid-, joining a growing group of non-luxury EV SUVs that includes the Chevrolet Bolt EUV , Ford Mustang Mach E , Hyundai Kona Electric , Kia Niro EV , Tesla Model Y and Volkswagen ID.4 .

Engine, transmission and performance
Toyota hasn’t released much information about the bZ4X’s powertrain yet, other than that it will offer all-wheel drive as standard. That could mean two electric motors, one powering each axle, or it could refer to some sort of all-wheel drive system that sends power from one electric motor to both axles. We’ll learn more about the bZ4X’s powertrain closer to the SUV’s on-sale date.
Interior, comfort and cargo
From the photos, we can see that the Toyota bZ4X will offer a more futuristic dashboard design than other Toyota models, with a digital display, a large infotainment touchscreen, and a wide center console between the two front seats. The cabin looks spacious and similar in size to the RAV4, but we won’t know how accommodating it is until we get a chance to take a test drive.
Price Toyota bZ4X
Toyota hasn’t said how much the Toyota bZ4X will cost or how many trim levels will be offered, but we expect a starting price in the high $30,000 range with loaded models topping the $40,000 mark. When we know more about pricing, features, options and equipment, we’ll update this story with details and provide a recommendation for the best buy.
