Toyota Camry 2025: Updates, Hybrid and TRD Model
The recent spy shots of a Toyota Camry sparked a sense of hope. Hope we finally get a cheap, high-quality sedan. Toyota nameplate always promises good fuel economy, especially after what we saw on the new Toyota Prius .
Toyota Camry
The Toyota Camry will be the next in the line of small and medium compact sedans with a long tradition. The first production started in the eighties and does not intend to stop. The main catch with this car is the availability, which is achieved by the low price and good quality.
One of Japan’s most famous car manufacturers has a long line of high-quality vehicles. Sure, they’ve had some problems in the past, they’ve had to recall their vehicles, they paid the price for their mistakes, and they still manage to make good vehicles and even plan for the future.
Release date and price
There is no official data for the Toyota Camry release date, nor an official price. However, judging by previous models, the price will rise from $23,070 before you add some trim options. The release date will likely be adjusted, but you can expect to see the first example of the production vehicle in early . Development started earlier this year, so you can’t expect them to show everything right away.
The current version of Toyota Camry has a total of seven models. And prices increase as you go through the trims. We can only assume that this will be the case with next year’s model. As we go down that yellow brick road, we can assume that the Toyota Camry will also have seven models, namely Toyota Camry LE, XLE, SE, XSE, Hybrid LE, Hybrid SE and Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE.
There will be a special model designed only . This will be the performance version and will be released a few months after the regular versions.
Design
There is some talk about the ugly design of the current model, but I don’t see it that way. I see Toyota has some really talented people on the drawing boards. We can all see this coming to fruition with the all-new Prius or even Lexus. The clues are being taken from this as we can already see from the spy shots. Perhaps the style is noticeably borrowed from the Lexus, but rest assured we will have some super lightweight materials used in the technology of the body itself. This bodywork is used in every single Toyota vehicle due to its weight.

The lines of the vehicle will be much sportier than the current version. This has also been taken from the spy shots and the rumors that there will be an all-sport model with quad exhaust tips and some really aggressive wheels and tires. This may be a hint for Toyota’s racing division. We had some rumors that they will switch from SUVs to performance cars. This may be the little nod we were looking for.
The new architecture allows engineers to improve handling, lower the center of gravity, stiffen the suspension and apply better brakes while they’re at it.
Next, they would need to add some new engines. The one they would need to put (and is the most likely candidate) is the Highlander’s 3.5-liter V6 with 295 horsepower.
This move will help the company to fight the competition with much more powerful cars. Who could say that Toyota Camry is just a shopping car?

The interior of the Toyota Camry looks good and is as if borrowed from the new Corolla. The use of soft materials around the vehicle has become a kind of standard. The current model has soft materials on the doors, throughout the dashboard and on the steering wheel. All kinds of options are being added. Each model has adjustable driver’s seats and a combination of leather (on the ridges and headrests) and polyester in the seat and back area.
There’s a small screen on the center console with Entune Audio and buttons you’re sure not to like. But there’s nothing perfect in this world.

It will be impossible not to see a hybrid version of the new Toyota Camry engine. Expect a few models with this hybrid version with 2.5-liter 4-cylinder ECVT engine, 2.0-liter inline 4 and 3.5-liter V6 engine. It will be boosted to 300 horsepower and there is a possibility that it will be used on the Toyota Camry TRD.
The base 2.5-liter 4-cylinder could be switched from the six-speed automatic to the eight-speed automatic, but that has not been confirmed to date.
There are no rumors about the acceleration capabilities or fuel economy. Judging by the previous incarnations, the Toyota Camry will go from 0 to 60 in about 6.1 seconds, except for the TRD version. The performance version will have to bring that time down below 5 seconds to compete with Ford Fusion Sport and have a chance at NASCAR.
Fuel economy will be better than the current model at 24/33 mpg for base models and 42/38 mpg for a hybrid. Technology has advanced, so we’re optimistic.
