Volkswagen CC 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
According to the Volkswagen CC spy photos we’ve exclusively seen, a number of changes seem to be planned for the new model year. Although the camouflage makes it almost impossible for us to get a glimpse of the redesigned Volkswagen CC, one thing is for sure – there are a lot of changes! Below, we’ve prepared a well-researched review based on the teaser and spy photos we’ve seen of the Volkswagen CC during a test drive. The release date and pricing rumors are also covered.
Volkswagen Passat
Here are some notes about the Volkswagen CC 101: Introduced eight years ago, it was the first four-door coupe priced between €30,000 and €40,000 (Euro). The Volkswagen CC had sold over 280,000 units worldwide in just five years, thanks in part to its striking exterior design, extensive standard equipment, a well-built and attractive cabin, and available all-wheel drive.
Now, despite all the problems with the emissions scandal, Volkswagen is back at it again and presents a visually and technically updated Volkswagen CC . With a new front and rear design, the new model aims to make an even more assertive step in the segment of entry-level luxury and workaday family sedans. The Volkswagen CC has so much to offer – I would say!
Take a look at the outgoing model and you’ll be amazed by the creativity of Volkswagen engineers. See, the 2017 CC was a compelling center of a Venn diagram between a four-door sedan and a sports coupe in terms of design. It’s stylish, executive and best executed for the money. Then imagine what the new Volkswagen CC will look like when it’s officially unveiled.
While a lot can be said about how better the Volkswagen CC has gotten over the years, there is one thing that cannot be wished for – its age! See, in a segment that is crowded with fresher and updated vehicles every year, the Volkswagen CC is between a rock and a hard place. However, we assure its fans that they will love everything that comes their way. Rumors suggest that most of the previously optional features have been made standard. Some of these include lane keeping assist, Easy Open system, 360-degree optical parking system, dynamic light assist, side assist plus and fatigue detection system.
With all of these features and more available, the Volkswagen CC can better compete against its competition, which includes the BMW 320i, Acura TLX, Nissan Maxima, and Honda Accord, among others. But for those looking for an undeniable style package, the Volkswagen CC still remains a top contender.
Release date & price
Volkswagen CC price estimates and release date details are yet to be announced, but given the refreshments and updates, we would vouch for a slight price increase over the existing price, which ranges from $34,475 for the base Volkswagen CC 2.0T Sport PZEV sedan to $44,000 for the Volkswagen CC 3.6L V6 4Motion Executive sedan. Leasing deals are also other ownership options. The Volkswagen CC release date should be expected in fall .
Exterior design
Volkswagen has revised both the front and rear body panels, at least according to Klaus Bischoff, head of Volkswagen’s design brand. For , buyers should expect new alloy wheels, a variety of exterior design modifications and colors that give it an even more dynamic yet elegant overall look.
As the pictures here show, the hood, headlights and grille have new designs. And every part of the styling fits well with Volkswagen’s design DNA. The DNA places more emphasis on the concise harmony of the grille, headlights and horizontal lines.
Further details on the front, side and rear profiles will be updated in this section once it is officially unveiled.
Interior changes
Even in its base form, the new Volkswagen CC seems to beat most of its rivals in terms of build quality and material quality. Although the interior doesn’t seem to come with many changes like the exterior, the infotainment system has been updated to offer better automatic Apple CarPlay and Android integration, as well as faster processing speeds, according to sources familiar. More details will be announced as the release date approaches.
Available trims
At this time, there are six trims available for the Volkswagen CC: R Line, Sport, Trend, V6 4Motion Executive, R-Line Executive with Carbon and R-Line Executive.
Engine specifications
The engines on offer are a carryover from the existing model, so buyers should expect a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 200 hp and a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 280 hp.
