The battery can replenish its energy by 80% in at least 40 minutes at a charging terminal with a power of up to 150 kW.
The impressive curb weight (at least 2150 kg) does not prevent the Volvo XC40 Recharge electric car from demonstrating excellent dynamics, unattainable for any brother from the “forty” family. Up to 100 km / h, the new Volvo accelerates in just 4.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to a modest 180 km / h.
The external features of the Recharge version include a plug instead of the grille and the revised plastic of the bumpers. The rest of the electric car is identical to the usual versions of the crossover. In the salon there are a little more innovations.
Firstly, the model received its own media center with the Android-based operating system Automotive OS. Such a multimedia system, in addition to the remote update function, has Volvo XC70 On Call services.
Another special option is a virtual instrument panel with a special interface containing information about the operation of the electrical installation.
