VW e-Up 2025: Price, consumption, picture, technical data.
The VW e-Up is an all-electric sedan produced by the German automaker Volkswagen. The car was then unveiled at the German International Motor Show in September 2013.VW’s E-Up! is a great example of a conventional car improved by the addition of an electric powertrain.
VW e-Up
Volkswagen has updated the Up! and equipped it with a battery pack with a higher capacity. The capacity was initially 18.7 kWh, but this will increase by more than half to 32.3 kWh in the new version. The final range is not yet known, but it will be around 260 kilometers (WLTP). That is around 100 kilometers more than before.
PERFORMANCE
The electric motor has an output of 60 kW (80 hp) and delivers a torque of 210 Nm (155 lb-ft).
BATTERY
The battery is located under the seats: this protects it from impacts and maximizes boot space. Thanks to its recuperation technology, the e-up! takes this energy and uses it to power the battery. The driver can choose from four different, easy-to-activate recovery modes.
OFFER
A public high-speed DC charging station takes just 30 minutes, while a wall box at home will do the job in 6 hours. The combined charging system (CCS) offers two types of plugs, so you can charge the car from the comfort of your own home using a household socket or a super-fast socket.
INNER
You might not expect a lot of luxury in the new E-up! But you’d be wrong. From the leather three-spoke steering wheel to the gear knob gaiter, handbrake handle and sharkskin dashboard, you’re surrounded by high-quality craftsmanship. If that doesn’t impress you, the heated front seats with three individual temperature settings will do the trick.
OUTSIDE
You will be proud to own the new E-up! VW added subtle, sophisticated styling features that make it unmistakably recognizable. A blue-chrome stripe under the bonnet lip, signature C-lights on the door handles and elegant 15-inch “Tezzle” alloy wheels complete the picture perfectly.
