The second-generation VW Tiguan Allspace crossover underwent a planned refresh last summer, and now its extended seven-seater version, offered in Europe with the Allspace prefix, has been redesigned.

Electronic assistants include the Travel Assist semi-automatic driving system, which takes control of the steering wheel, acceleration and braking up to a speed of 210 km/h. This quasi-autopilot essentially combines the functions of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Assist.

The European Allspace is available as a seven-seater. A car with three rows of seats has 700 liters behind the second row and 1755 liters behind the first. In the original five-seater configuration, the base trunk volume is 760 liters and the maximum is 1920 liters.

Technical data

The engine range of the long Tiguan is different in America and Europe. For Europe, only the 2.0 TSI EA888 series engine is prepared, which produces 186 hp and 300 Nm. This unit is combined with the classic 8-speed automatic and 4Motion all-wheel drive.
